It’s Wise Wednesday!
Today’s Motivational Minute is..
SEEK WISE COUNSEL!
On this Wise Wednesday, make sure you are connecting with the right people who can give you the right information. Nothing like sharing something with something, looking to gain insight, and getting nothing in return. When you are at a strategic place in your life, you have to know and understand WHO you have in your circle and WHO is able to give you wise counsel. These people understand where you are going and have the knowledge, expertise, or spiritual insight to help you get there. Now keep in mind that you can’t share everything with everyone, but you should have one or two people you can go to outside of seeking God for direction, who can give you the wise counsel needed to keep you on track or get you back on track.
YOUR TURN… on this Wise Wednesday, tell me … have you shared something with someone only to walk away from the conversation thinking you were no better off than before it began? Do you have a wise counsel in your circle of influence? How have they been helpful in making strategic decisions in your life?

I have an aunt who every now and then gives me some wise advice one thing she said to me that was so true is that I don’t have to like everybody and everybody don’t have to like me and only then I understood that people who loves and cares about me don’t expect perfection from me I’m already accepted by them and in turn I tell my daughter the same thing as and when people don’t like her in school or anywhere she goes then she know it’s ok because everyone don’t have to like her. Well I hope that wasn’t too confusing but it works for me. Great post Detra

lol!!! No it wasn’t confusing at all. Yes it is always good to have someone in your corner to give you that needed advice to help keep you grounded. I have a few people in my life who keep me grounded as well. One being husband, he has a way of helping me make decisions when I may be on the fence about something. Thanks again for sharing.
