Today’s Motivational Minute…
I received this in an email today from Tory Johnson of Women for Hire and I thought someone needed a small reminder that you can change your perception of how you see things, thus changing your situation. What thoughts are limiting your success or progress???
Is Perception Blocking Your Success?
At yesterday’s Women For Hire career expo in New York, I met hundreds of the nearly 1,000 attendees who came through our door. While most of the women were in top form, several conversations started like this: “Nobody hires people over 40.” “Nobody responds to resume submissions.” “Nobody will help me get hired.”
When you truly think that “nobody” will hire you, that perception dramatically impacts your effort and of course your results. You must believe with every fiber of your being that there’s a perfect position with your name on it—and it’s your job to find it right now. Just one—all you need it one.
Be honest: what self-limiting perceptions are holding you back? Do yourself a favor and call them out—break them down, prove them wrong. Alter your attitude and change your actions. Today.
Remember to thine own self be TRUE, for out of the abundance of the HEART, the mouth SPEAKS… speak life and be true!
Until next time…
