In all things give thanks…

With everything going on around you, take a moment outside of the hustle and bustle of preparing for tomorrow, planning what time you’re going to be up for black Friday, and anything else that may be taking up way too much space in that mind of yours and be thankful that you are here and ALIVE!! Some didn’t make it to see another thanksgiving. Take a moment to relish in what you are thankful for! Do it now!

We spend so much time thinking and planning for tomorrow that we forget to be thankful for and enjoy TODAY! In all things give thanks. Not just the big things but the small ones too. Things don’t always turn out the way we plan them but trust that all things work together for our good. You couldn’t have paid me to believe that I would be a mom last year around this time, but guess what… I AM and I wouldn’t have it any other way. My husband and I got the best gift from God, our son. Some other things didn’t work out as WE planned but God had other plans and we are thankful for that too!

So again, take a moment and in spite of what looks like way too much going on around you and maybe inside of you and GIVE THANKS on today and everyday. There is always something to be thankful for.

I want to wish my parents a special HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! They celebrate over 40 years of marriage today! I’m grateful to have them in my life. They have truly been a blessing to me and my family!
